How do I make an assessment available to students to take on the Student Portal?

Students can take assessments at https://student.masteryconnect.com/ by entering a Test ID. However, you can also allow students to take an assessment at the Mastery Connect Student Portal without entering a Test ID.

Note: The Mastery Connect Student Portal is only available if your school or district has integrated their Student Information System (SIS) with Mastery Connect.

Open Tracker

In the Global Navigation menu, click the Trackers link [1]. In the Trackers page, click the name of the tracker you want to edit [2].

To open the Standard Details page, hover the cursor over a standard name to which the assessment is aligned [1], and click the Assess link [2].

For a single standard assessment, click the Assess tab [1].

For a multi-standard assessment, click the assessment title [2].

On the multi-standard assessment page, click the Assess tab of any associated standard.

Enable Assessment on Student Portal

In the Assess window, to make the assessment available on the student portal, click the Student Portal toggle on.  

To remove the assessment from the student portal, follow the same steps as above. Then, click the Student Portal toggle off.

To close the Assess window, click the Close button.
