As a Mastery Connect staff member, you can open your News Feed from the Mastery Connect Home page Dashboard. The News Feed displays your activity, as well as the activity of users you are following. You can also share updates on the News Feed.
Notes:
- Your Mastery Connect Community followers can also view your activity and updates on their News Feeds. However, you can make your News Feed private to followers.
- You can select whether to have email notifications sent when someone comments on your News Feed.
Open Dashboard
In the Global Navigation menu, click the Home link [1]. Then, click the Dashboard tab [2].
Open News Feed
Click the News Feed tab.
View News Feed
On the News Feed, you can share an update announcement [1], view your own activity updates [2], and view activity of users you follow [3].
Open User Profiles
To view a user's profile from a News Feed update, click the user's profile image [1], or click a user name link [2].
Comment on News Feed Activity
To comment on any activity update in the News Feed, click a Comment link.
Enter Comment
Click in the Write a comment... field and enter a comment [1]. Then, click the Comment button [2].
Share Update Announcement
To share an update announcement, click in the Share an Update field.
Enter Update
Enter text in the Share an Update field [1]. Then, click the Share button [2].
View or Delete Update
The update displays on your news feed [1], as well as on the news feed of the users who follow you.
You can view a general time for when the update was posted [2].
To delete an update, hover over the update and click the Delete icon [3].
Open News Feed Assessments or Standards
To open assessments mentioned in the New Feed, click the assessment icon [1] or the assessment name links [2].
To view standard details in a pop-up window, click the standard name links [3].
