As a teacher, you can view the Grader in the Mastery Connect Teacher app on a mobile device. The Grader allows you to scan, score, or edit answers to assessments.
Notes:
- The Mastery Connect Teacher app is available for both Android and iOS devices.
- The images shown in this lesson are from an iPhone. The Android and/or tablet interfaces may have slight differences, but have the same functionality unless otherwise noted.
Open Assessments
To open the Assessments view, tap the Assessments button.
Open Grader
To open the Grader, tap an assessment.
View Grader
The Grader displays the first student's name, ID, and scoring information [1].
The Grader may display a scanning camera window for scanning bubble sheets [2].
To view assessment standards and student answers, tap the Score tab [3].
To view photos or notes of student work, tap the Evidence tab [4].
Using the Grader, you can edit student responses or score rubric items. You can also score assessments or add evidence.
Open Student List
To view a list of all students, tap the Students icon.
View Student List
The Students view displays a list of students associated with the assessment. You can view each student's name [1] and ID [2]. If evidence was attached, you can view the Evidence icon [3].
If the assessment has been scored, you can view the number of points earned out of the number of points possible [4], as well as the student's mastery level [5].
You can also view total student mastery counts [6].
Sort Student List
To sort the student list by name or mastery level, tap the Sort By drop-down menu [1]. Then, select one of the following options:
- Student Name [2]: Lists students alphabetically by last name.
- Mastery to Remediation [3]: Lists students with the greatest level of mastery first.
- Remediation to Mastery [4]: Lists students needing remediation first.
To exit the Students view, tap the screen outside of the student list.
