I was attempting a quiz in the student view to try and see what they would see after completing the quiz. Now it seems I have a permanent Test Student who has completed the quiz making it not possible to unpublish the quiz. I see no way to clear the attempt nor is the Test Student listed under people so I could try and remove them. Is there any solution to this?

Hi there! If you want to remove the "Test Student" role from your course completely, you can do this. If you look at your "Grades" page, you should see the "Test Student" listed as a row there, right? If so, then you'll want to go to your course "Settings" page. Next, click on the "Sections" tab. You should see one or more sections listed on this page...with the number of students displayed next to the section name(s). Click on the section name to display the list of students in that section. Hover over the names, and you'll see a red and white "x" icon. Find the "Student, Test" role, and click on that "x" icon. This will remove the "Test Student" from your course and the "Grades" page. And, you should be able to do what you need with that quiz as well.
If you aren't able to remove the "Test Student" on your own, then you'll need to reach out to your school's local Canvas administrator to have him/her do this for you.
I hope this will be of help!
