In Classic Quizzes I could set a time limit 20, 60, 90 minutes so that if the online or inclass student could not take them during a set time, I could add them in addition and give them a Range of Time to fit it into their busy schedule.
I cannot do that at all with New Quizzes. I really need a time limit feature on New Quizzes. Is there a way to do it on my end? Or do I have to wait for an update?
@kayser - I think this functionality already exists in New Quizzes (though I agree it isn't as straight forward/user friendly as it is in Classic Quiz!). Have you checked out these guides?:
If you need to change the date that a student is taking the quiz, that would likely be done with the regular "Assign To" area to manage due dates for New Quiz. That interface recently changed (though is going to change again). You can find more information about that in this blog post: Updates to the Assign To Interface.
Go into the settings tab in New Quizzes. There are MORE options for you there. There is a time limit limit and under moderate you could add additional time, give them more attempts. under the main screen now you have the option to manage and assign to... you can assign them a different date and time Frame here. its a pop open on the side.
