| Data encryption | HTTPS/SSL/TLS, SSH, and VPN technologies are used with at minimum AES-256 standards. All data is secured at rest. EBS volumes attached to EC2 instances are encrypted. S3 buckets are configured to encrypt objects when saved. RDS clusters are configured to utilize KMS for on-disk encryption. Using AWS KMS, encryption keys are rotated periodically to prevent brute-force decryption attempts. |
