About
Respondus develops assessment tools that work seamlessly with Canvas for both K-12 and Higher Ed institutions.
For Higher Ed: LockDown Browser and Respondus Monitor give institutions flexibility in how they offer online exams — all while maintaining the integrity of the assessment process within Canvas. LockDown Browser prevents cheating on the student's computer or device, and Respondus Monitor uses a student’s webcam and industry-leading video analytics to prevent cheating during non-proctored exams.
Respondus 4.0 makes it easy to create and publish assessments to Canvas courses, while the Respondus Test Bank Network offers thousands of publisher test banks for use in Canvas. StudyMate Campus engages students with learning activities, self-assessments, and games.
For K-12: LockDown Browser is a custom browser that locks down the testing environment, and is used by hundreds of Canvas schools and districts to prevent cheating during tests and quizzes. The Instructor Live Proctoring setting now allows LockDown Browser to be used with online video conferencing systems for remote, online proctoring. StudyMate Campus makes it easy for teachers and students to create flash cards, self-assessments, and learning games within Canvas - and it's bundled with LockDown Browser for K-12 schools and districts.
