So Canvas and PowerSchool have apparently been having relationship troubles again. Our school has been working on this for 2 weeks now and it seems there is no solution as of yet. It says the SSIDs can not be found. Mine worked flawlessly for 3 weeks and just stopped. The district enacted a "fix" last week that erased all data from everyone's courses and still did not fix the synching issue. Now they have restored our data and are still not able to synch. Does anyone know what is going on?

@rev I am sorry that you were experiencing issues with the grade sync from Canvas to PowerSchool. Around the time that you left this message, the SIS Team at Canvas Suport was actively working to resolve the issue. The grade passback from Canvas to PowerSchool is now working as expected for your district, but if you have issues with it again in the future, the best option would be to open a support ticket with Canvas Support using the options available under the Help icon in the Global Navigation on the far-left of Canvas.

Thank you for contacting the Instructure Community to discuss your question syncing your Canvas gradebook to PowerSchool. The specific error suggests that one of the sections in your course may be lacking a SIS ID. Perhaps, the section is missing its SIS ID. The SIS ID is added by the SIS when the section is created . If the section was manually created, it may not have a SIS ID. Does the section in PowerSchool have a SIS ID ? Is the section in PowerSchool ?
Further, because of the complexity of the issue, and the concerns for privacy, it would be best if you contacted Canvas Support directly to pinpoint the source of the issue and provide a resolution: How do I contact Canvas Support? - Instructure Community . You may also want to let your school's Canvas administrator know about the issue and they can contact us on your behalf as well .
