Canvas to Infinite Campus: Assignment Value--Decimals Rounded Down

Our district uses the syncing option from Canvas to Infinite Campus. Recently, we discovered that assignments with a decimal in the assignment point value do not transfer to IC as decimals. The point value gets rounded down to the nearest whole number.

In searching the Guides and other questions, I see that score values may be rounded down. However, our scores are transferring as they should (2.5) but the point value of the assignment is not (rounded from 2.5 down to 2.0), which causes discrepancies in grade book totals. Other than eliminating decimals in our assignment values or editing and rescoring every assignment with a decimal value, is there a way to fix this?
