I noticed recently that some of my assignments/grades aren't syncing to my school's SIS. On the assignments, I have the box that is checked that says, "Include this assignment's grades when syncing to your school's Student Information System." I have the assignments into a category on my Canvas, and those categories are synced to my SIS categories. I have done the manual grade sync, the overnight sync, and the remaster grade sync, and the assignments still won't sync. Canvas also does not give me an error (as seen in the attachment titled "Canvas 1"). When I look at the assignments after the sync, the assignments I needed to be synced are unchecked (as seen in the attachment titled "Canvas 2.")
I am at a loss. I had our school's Canvas expert look and he is stumped too. Has this happened to anyone else? What do I do?

Thank you for contacting the Instructure Community to discuss your question regarding certain assignments not syncing to your SIS grade book. Thank you for all of the additional information you have provided. I see you have remastered the grade book as well as checking to see that each assignment is in an associated assignment category. I might recommend checking each of the assignments for the following, as they can cause issues depending on the SIS you are using :

We are also having this issue with syncing to Qmlativ. Some of the grades will sync, some will not.

If you have gone through the checks provided by @KristenLuke I would advise running a grade sync remaster to check for specific errors.
Make sure that the grade sync tool is enabled in the course navigation by going to course settings>navigation and enabling it, save the changes. From there you can follow this guide. You may find that the grades sync. If not, you can use the grade sync tool to check for specific errors and their solutions here. It may be that you need to reach out to Canvas Support to have the issue looked at by the SIS Support team.
I am having the exact same issues with syncing to Skyward. Every one of the boxes is checked correctly and it has always synched this way. Now all of a sudden it is not syncing. Frustrating to not have more support and not have an in-district person who is savy with Canvas.
