How do I create a collection of objects from the dashboard in the Elevate Standards Alignment App?

You can create a collection of learning objects from the dashboard in the Elevate Standards Alignment App. A learning object collection is a group of related learning objects within an account that you may want to align together. Some examples of collections are:

  • All 4th grade math lessons
  • Chapters from within a specific unit
  • All writing assessment items

After you create a learning object collection, you can load it when aligning by object. You can also delete or rename a learning object collection.

Create New Collection

In the Dashboard, locate the Manage Object Collections tile. Click the Create New button.

Filter Learning Objects

In the Filter Objects window, click the Object Type drop-down list [1] and select an object type [2]. Your results are filtered by your selected object type.

View Filters as Collection

In the Filter Objects window, view the current filters. To expand a category, click the Arrow icon [1]. If needed, you can select or remove additional filters by clicking a checkbox [2]. The Current Filters list changes to show removed or added filters [3].

To create a collection of the learning objects that satisfy the current filters, click the Save as Collection button [4].

Note: As you select filters, the count of matching objects in subsequent filters updates dynamically based on selected filters.

Save Collection

Save Collection

Enter a name for the collection in the Collection Name field [1]. Then, click the Save button [2].
