How do I filter standards when aligning by object?

When aligning by object, you select a learning object and the find standards for alignment. Although the predicted list of standards is refined based on crosswalks and current object alignments, you can also filter standards by region, subject, grade, and strand.

Align by Object

In the Navigation Menu, click the Align by Object link.

Then, follow the steps for aligning by object.

Open Filter Standards

After selecting an object [1], click the Filter Standards button [2].

Expand Category

You can filter by the hierarchical categories of region, subject, grade, and strand. To filter by a category, click the its Expand icon [1].

Note: Alternatively, to filter based on a collection of standards you created, you can click the Load Collection button [2].

Select Category Options

In the expanded category, click one or more option checkboxes [1]. Select options in any of the categories. The number of options you select displays for each category [2].

Selections are captured in folders in the Active Filters section [3].

To clear all category selections, click the Clear All Filters link [4].

Optionally Expand Active Filters

To view the complete selection of filters, you can expand the active filter folders. To expand any folder, click the Folder icon.

As you expand folders, more of the standards selection hierarchy displays.

Apply Filters

To apply the selected filters, click the Apply button.

Note: You can also save the filters as a collection.
