After careful consideration, we have decided to sunset the Google Drive upload functionality in Canvas Student ePortfolios (Portfolium product) projects and assignments. The functionality will be discontinued on June 10th. This decision is driven by several factors, primarily the feature's low utilization and the existence of an easy workaround that allows users to continue to use their projects and assignments seamlessly.

Why we're making this change
After analyzing the usage data, we found that the Google Drive upload feature was underutilized by our community. Maintaining this feature requires ongoing engineering efforts and incurs costs that are disproportionate to its usage.
