How do I manage visual Indicators for my institution?

In Elevate K-12 Analytics, you can create and manage visual indicators for your account. Visual indicators more succinctly communicate organizational goal progress by applying a color-coded overlay to applicable charts. You can create visual indicators of your own, and your institution may create visual indicators for your account.

Open Administration Page

In the Navigation Menu, click the Admin link.

Open KPIs

In the Elevate K-12 Analytics Administration page, click the KPIs link.

Open Visual Indicators

In the Manage KPIs menu, click the Visual Indicators link [1].

Note: On the Manage KPIs Overview page you can click the Visual Indicators link [2].

View Indicators

The Personal Indicators page displays a list of all indicators in your account. The list includes the indicator name [1], type [2], value ranges [3], and chart applications [4]. You can also create new indicators [5] and view the total number of indicators [6].

Edit Indicator

To edit an indicator, locate the indicator in the list and click the Edit button.

Update Configuration

You can edit configuration details in the Configuration section [1]. You can edit the indicator's assigned metric [2] and description [3]. You can also edit the indicator type [4] and values [5].

Note: You cannot edit the indicator name.

Update Filters

To update the indicator filters, click the Filters tab [1]. You can edit the date [2] and scope filters [3].

Update Placement Settings

To update placement options, click the Placement tab [1]. You can update settings for chart and scorecard placement [2].

Save Updates

Click the Save button [1].

To reset the indicator to default settings and values, click the Reset button [2].

To delete an indicator, locate the indicator in the list and click the Delete button.
