How do I create a chart from a data exploration?

You can save any chart in new or existing data exploration as an individual, stand-alone chart. Saved charts display in your Elevate K-12 Analytics Visuals library, and you can add them to dashboards. You can also publish charts and send them to others at your institution.

In the Navigation Menu, click the Data Explorer link.

In the Yours section of the Explorations menu, click a category link [1]. Then click the name of an exploration [2].

Note: You can also open an exploration from a chart or scorecard. Learn more about accessing the Data Explorer.

In the exploration, select the chart you want to save [1]. Then click the Tools Menu icon [2].

Note: You can save only one exploration chart at a time. However, there is no limit for the number of charts you can save from any exploration.

In the Explorer Actions sidebar, click the Create Chart link.

Enter a name for the chart in the Chart Name field [1]. Then click the OK button [2].

You can also create a repeating chart.

Saved charts display in the Visuals page [1]. Click the Created by You category [2]. Expand the Charts folder [3] and view the chart [4].

You can customize your charts, add charts to your favorites, and add charts to dashboards.
