How do I publish a data exploration to others at my institution?
In Elevate K-12 Analytics, you can create data explorations and then publish them for others to view. Data exploration details may be limited by a user's role in Elevate K-12 Analytics, restricting their view to information only applicable to their role in your institution.
Open Data Explorer
In the Navigation Menu, click the Data Explorer link.
Open Exploration
In the Yours section of the Explorations menu, click a category link [1]. Then click the name of saved exploration [2].
Note: You can also open an exploration from a chart or scorecard. Learn more about accessing the Data Explorer in Elevate K-12 Analytics.
Publish Exploration
In the Explorer Actions sidebar, click the Publish link.
Select Roles or Users
You can publish an exploration to users with specific user roles, and to specific users at your institution.
To search for a specific user or user role, enter the role or name in the Search field [1].
To select a specific user role to view the exploration, locate the role in the Roles list and click the role name checkbox [2].
To select a specific user to view the exploration, locate the user in the Users list and click the checkbox next to the user's name [3].
To remove a selected user or user role from the publish list, deselect the checkbox [4] or click the Remove icon [5].
Then, click the Publish button [6].
View Published Explorations
Published explorations display in the Published by You section of the Explorations page [1]. You can also view the user roles and users to whom the exploration was published [2].
