How do I send or view messages in Mastery Connect?

As a Mastery Connect staff member, you can send and receive private messages. You can also reply to the messages. Your Mastery Connect Inbox displays all messages you send or receive.

Note: You can select whether to have email notifications sent when sends you a message.

Open Inbox

In the Global Navigation menu, click the Home link [1]. Then, click the Inbox tab [2].

The Inbox flag displays how many messages you have sent or received [1].

To view all messages you have sent or received, click the All link [2].

To view all the messages you have not read, click the Unread link [3].

To view any alerts, click the Alerts link [4].

Incoming messages display the sender's profile image link [1]. Outgoing messages you sent display the recipient's profile image.

To open a message, click the subject line link [2].

The Inbox also displays partial text of the message [3], the number of replies in the thread [4], and when the message was sent [5].

To delete a message, click the Delete link [6].

Reply to Message

To reply to an open message, enter a message in the content field [1], and click the Reply button [2].

Send Messages

To send a new message to a user, open the user's profile page. Then, click the Send Message button.

Enter a title [1] and message content [2]. Then, click the Send Message button [3].
