Hi, I have Cavas Free Instructor, I published my contents but my students can't see the contents

I am unable to view my grades for a particular course (from Fall 2018). Grades are available for all of my other courses. Is this something enabled by the instructor?Thank you.

Issue resolved. 

Why can't I read replies in a discussion on my Canvas student app?  I can see them if I go to my account through a browser, but all I see on the app is the name of the person who replied.

How can I be switched from a "student" to "teacher"? I am a teacher but I have been added to an instructor's class and I do not see how to switch to teacher so that I can setup classes.
