Export Rubric Data Per student

    When setting up a rubric the default is a single criteria and two scoring categories. You can add more scoring categories that will then be applied to any additional criteria. 

     

    So you could have a a rubric with four criteria (rows) and a five point scale (columns). 

     

    Enable a rubric data export per student into a csv file as follows: 

     

    Individual students by row, Criteria by column and score in the intersecting cell (see sample below). 

     

     

    This allows teachers to give students specific feedback on the individual criteria as well as giving the teacher aggregate data for each criteria.

     

    There is already a submission to export the rubric in aggregate by criteria. This solution, however, would kill two birds with one stone by providing both individual and aggregate data. Export aggregate rubric scores to identify strengths and weaknesses of class as a whole 

     

    From this data the teacher can see they need to spend more time with Criteria A and may not need to spend any more time with Criteria D.

     

    From this data the teacher knows that Student 2 needs more help in general. Student 3 is generally proficient but, needs additional help with Criteria A etc.
