My students submit written assignments as PDFs that I then correct using the markup tools available in speed grader. The problem I encounter is that student's second drafts are the same as their first drafts- with my corrections and notes on the side bar, despite the fact that the dropdown menu on the upper right shows two different submission dates.
Why is this happening?
