This is an issue I have been going around in circles over for the past 8 months. I am currently attempting to install Canvas Commons in a Self-Hosted environment using the opensource deployment from github. I am using the instructions from the "Instructure Self Hosted Canvas Commons Setup" (this document is out of date). The problem I have is when I attempt to configure the Commons Setup App, I receive "502 Bad Gateway" error after authorizing the app to access my account.
Steps Take to Install:
Authorize Commons Key to my account
I then get a 502 Bad Gateway error.
Is anyone else getting this? I have tried searching and have seen a couple of people have gotten the same error, but no one has responded with an answer on how to get past this.
What are some suggested steps to figure this out?
@4146412 , due to the technical nature of this question I'm going to share this with the Canvas Developers group in the Community. They are the ones who do a lot of the back-end of Canvas type stuff like this and can hopefully help! In addition, you might consider joining this group so you have access to their resources and information.
Hope this helps!

Any update on this? I am getting a slightly different error. On the last step, after I click authorize, I see this error:
Hey @4146412 , @kona , @Robbie_Grant
Could you solve this problem? I have a similar one, no one has answered yet.
Hello, this problem has no solution at the moment, can someone give us
a guide to solve this problem with the integration at common?
