We need to export a Canvas course for use on the D2L platform. The D2L platform only accepts .zip files, how do we convert the .imscc standard Canvas cartridge export format to .zip?
Any help is much appreciated!
Hi @Andrea72 ...
Full disclosure...I have never used D2L before. However, after you have downloaded the *.imscc file from your Canvas course, I *think* you'd just have to change the file extension to *.zip instead. This is confirmed in the blue box at the top of How do I export a Canvas course? (last sentence of the second paragraph). Give that a try and see if it works for your needs.
Please let Community members know if you have any other questions about this...thanks!
Can it really be that easy?? I hope so - thanks for your response!
Andrea
Hi Chofer,
Just to let you know that unfortunately this didn't work 😐 Back to the drawing board!
