How do I make student identities truly hidden in SpeedGrader, not just assigned a regular number that I eventually leanr to associate with the student? I posted this question last year when I noticed student names were consistently changed to the same student number (e.g., John Doe's work always appears as Student 2 because John Doe is second on my roll). I was told that this was because I was using the Canvas Free-for-Teacher account and that when the new gradebook was released for all Canvas users on January 18th of this year, there would no longer be a consistent association between student names and student numbers when you select to hide student names in the SpeedGrader. January 18th has passed but I have seen no change. I know, for example, who Student 17 is, and it biases me in the grading process. How can this be fixed?
