I was wondering if anyone had suggestions for collecting gradebook information for a full term. I know I could go to each course in the term and export the gradebooks from there and combine them, but was hoping there was an easier way. 

We use a block schedule for our courses so all courses for a cohort are lumped into a single term that can span 18 months to 3 years.

I understand that you would like to be able to pull a report that would generate all the gradebook information in one term.

Canvas Admin can pull a report called the "Grade Export" report which shows the final grade results for all the students in a selected term. Unfortunately, this report won't show the grades for all the assignments, quizzes, and discussions that a student will have a grade for.

If this is an option that you would like to explore further, please reach out to Canvas Support to submit the request to your institution's Admin.

Note: you do have to be an admin for your institutions Canvas or an admin in a sub-account.

1. Log into Canvas
2. Click on Admin and select the account.
3. Click Settings
4. Click on Reports

Here is where you will find the reports you can run.
