I assigned a peer review assignments for students.  They can't type in the comment box on their iPad.  They are using the Safari browser.

I'm so sorry that your question about peer reviews on mobile has been sitting here for about a month with no response! By chance, did you come to a resolution? We'd love to hear from you as to how things are progressing!

I had a chance to talk with  @KristinL ‌ from the https://community.canvaslms.com/groups/cmug?sr=search&searchId=2e5d3d7f-8c98-41d2-8c15-91845cef1161&...‌ group, and she said she hasn't had a problem with student's doing peer reviews in Safari on an iPad. So, probably the best plan if you are still experiencing an issue is to contact Canvas Support to see if they have any ideas.

I contacted Canvas support through a ticket and they told me that Peer Review was not supported on mobile devices and so I was out of luck.  It still doesn’t work for us and I quit trying to get Canvas to help me given their response.

Hi,  @BStutzman ‌ - thanks for the update. This feature has never existed on the mobile apps, but it doesn't mean it will always be that way. This ideas has been proposed a few times, here's the most successful one: https://community.canvaslms.com/ideas/4918

Yes, I was aware that Peer Review did not work in the app on the iPad.  I wrote the ticket to ask support why it didn't work in Safari browser on the iPad.

I had this same problem in my undergraduate first year composition course and I had my students open Canvas in Safari. The option to provide peer review popped up in the right spot and my students were able to do it on their iPads.
