[ARCHIVED] Access Denied for a file listed in my "Coming Up" section of my Dashboard?

Why can't I see details on files  that are shown to me in the "Coming Up" section of My Dashboard? The exact message generated when I click on it is:

Access Denied

You don't have access to view this resource.

We've let your instructor know to review this link as soon as possible.

Hi @DouglasW1  -  Sometimes teachers have a link included in the To Do list but they wait to "publish" it until it's immediately needed for an activity. That prevents students from working ahead without instruction. The message you shared will also be sent to your student's teacher, so if the publish status was not intentional, they'll receive a nudge to make adjustments.
