[ARCHIVED] Access to Canvas commons

I have access to Commons in Canvas as a VPS co-teacher.  How do I load other courses that are free to my courses?  I tried looking up information in the guide but it said I do not have access permission.  Where do I turn for help? 

James Hendricks posted two courses I was told to use.  I was able to download them but I can't access most of the material and I can only preview it.  I do not have teacher access.  

Can someone help me?

Hello there, @dgunderson ...

Sorry to see that your question has been sitting here unanswered for so long.  You do need to be enrolled in Canvas as a "Teacher" in at least one course within your school's Canvas environment...as Commons is only visible to instructors and Canvas administrators...not students.  Once you've ensured that you are assigned as a "Teacher" in your course, you should be able to use Canvas Commons to import content (courses, modules, pages, etc.) into your own course.  How do I import and view a Commons resource in Canvas?
