[ARCHIVED] Add an app across all of my courses?

I looked and couldn't find an answer to this exact question, sorry if I missed something.  I'm just wondering if I have a free external app that I like using (Screen-Case-Omatic for example) do I have to manually add it to all courses separately every semester, or is there a way to add it to my profile so it automatically appears in all my courses?

Hello there, @ektmcc ...

External LTI apps such as Screencast-O-Matic are either added at the Canvas account level or at the Canvas course level.  Usually, the developer of the app will let you know at which level the app can and/or should be installed.  If a LTI external app is installed at the Canvas account level, then it is available for all courses at your school within that account.  If an app is installed at the Canvas course level, then it is only available for the course you integrated it with.  There is no interface in your Canvas profile that lets you add LTI apps to use across all of your own courses.
