[ARCHIVED] Adding a whole year group to a course

I have been tasked with managing the transition of our year 10 students to year 11, either here or at another education facility.  I want to set up a CANVAS course for this.  Is there a way to add all the Gr10 students in bulk rather that having to enter their emails one at a time?  Each Gr10 Care/home group has a CANVAS course - can I somehow use those?

I am needing similar information. Our library links are located in Canvas. We need to add everyone to this "course."

Hi @jan_phillips and @annmarierill ...

If you have the ability to add people to your course on your own, and if you have their e-mail addresses, you don't have to add them one-by-one.  You can paste in a list of e-mail addresses (for example, one e-mail address per line) into that invite box, and it will then add all the people to the course.  Or, as you can see from the examples in this Guide, How do I add users to a course? - Instructure Community (canvaslms.com), you can add e-mail addresses separated by a comma.  Either option works.
