[ARCHIVED] Always download a PDF instead of using embedded browser

I like my browser's built-in PDF viewer, and I'd prefer to use it over Canvas's built in method. Right now, this always requires two clicks (including waiting for the PDF to load in the preview which I don't plan on using. Is there a user setting to, for my user account, download a PDF on the first click?

At the moment, no, users cannot bypass Canvas's doc viewer through a custom setting in their Canvas account. The doc viewer is simply how Canvas works, alas.
