[ARCHIVED] Announcement Emails

In my notifications, I have the box checked to receive emails when there is an announcement. However, I recently posted 2 announcements and did not receive an email. I am also getting questions from my students which are answered in the announcement but I am worried they're not receiving it.

Hi there, a couple of really simple things to check, and you may have already done so. Please disregard if you have. Make sure you have set the 'announcements created by you' notification preference to right away. And also make sure that the course is published too.
