Apple pen functionality removed. Please explain why I cannot annotate with the iPad and Apple pen.

Are you using Canvas Student or Canvas Teacher? Does your Apple Pencil connect and work correctly in another app?

I have a similar issue: after updating the canvas app and updating to the newest version of iosipad, I cannot annotate with the pencil OR even with a finger.
