[ARCHIVED] Are unpublished assignments Counted in any way?

In this new world of online learning, I am copying over assignments from my regular online classes into my face to face that are now online. I unpublished the old face to face assignments, but I am keeping them for next semester next to the new assignment in the grade book. This may be obvious, but I want to make sure that these unpublished assignments will not count when I turn all ungraded assignments into zeros at the end of the semester. Thanks -

Hello @eire292 , that is a valid concern! No, if it is unpublished students can't see it and the gradebook ignores it for points and the 0 points piece. Also note that the 0 only works when there is a due date otherwise it technically is never missing since it in theory has not be due yet.
