[ARCHIVED] Assign TAs and Instructors to Groups?

I am an academic technologist helping a faculty member organize her Canvas site. We have a large class with 500+ students and 37 TAs. We are creating small active learning groups and would like to assign one TA per group. Is that possible? We have set up 100+ groups, but all 37 TAs are assigned to each group. (I'm surprised because the TAs are all restricted to viewing only students in their sections, yet on the group pages all TAs are listed.) Thus, any time a post occurs on a Group page every instructor and TA receives a notification.
