[ARCHIVED] Assigning the SIS ID as the Login ID?

By default the email address is assigned as the Login ID when creating a new account.

Is there a way to assign the SIS ID as the Login ID whether you are creating a new account manually or through a SIS upload?

The format specification for users.csv in the SIS Import Format Documentation indicates that you can specify a login_id.

You're welcome! The "Add a New User" dialog box has a Username field that's the login ID. How's that for consistent nomenclature?

I'm not sure which SIS you are using but for PowerSchool the SIS id is the student's DCID which you can quick export.
