[ARCHIVED] Attachment to an Announcement

I created an announcement on Canvas and needed to attach 2 documents to this annuncement.  However, it would only allow me to add the 1 attachment and when I tried to add the 2nd attachment it replaced the 1st.

I tried to attach using the "Browse" function under the text box.  Should I be attaching using a different function?

Hi,  @r_j_darnell  Welcome to the Canvas Community! As you've discovered, announcements only accommodate a single file attachment when using the Choose File option that displays at the bottom. However, there's an elegant way to provide multiple files inline within the announcement text itself: when composing the announcement, use the options in the Rich Content Editor (RCE) to insert files. Here are instructions for both the current (old) and new RCEs:
