I'm working with an instructor who has two course sections, L1 and L2. A student was moved from L1 to L2 due to scheduling conflicts. The Attendance Report has retained his L1 attendance and his L2 attendance. However, the Attendance score reports only his L2 attendance. This is okay.
However, his Attendance grade in the Gradebook is not correct. It's significantly lower than the grade in the Attendance report. His Gradebook Roll Call Attendance is 85% and his Attendance Report grade is 93%. I've reviewed his Attendance record and the Attendance Report grade is correct.
There appears to be a disconnect between the Gradebook and the Attendance tool when a student is moved from one section to another.
Does anyone have insight as to why this might happen? Anything that should be done to make sure the Attendance tool and Gradebook stay in sync?
Thanks!
Blaise
Thank you for replying here, without being able to look at the specific assignments. What can cause the assignment group to show a different grade is if an extra assignment is in that group this could explain the grade difference in the gradebook between what shows in the roll call assignment.
