[ARCHIVED] Auto-Reply on inbox messages

Is there an "out of office" for "Auto Reply" feature in the Canvas messages so that I as the teacher can communicate to students and observers when I'm out of the office?  If not it would be an incredible useful tool to have.

Hello @kdingle ...

An auto-reply feature does not exist at this time in the Canvas Inbox.  However, i did find an existing Feature Idea that you might want to check out called Auto-reply for Canvas messages.  You can "rate" this idea (see How do idea conversations work in the Canvas Community?) as well as leave a comment at the bottom of it letting Instructure engineers know why a feature like this would be important to you in Canvas.
