[ARCHIVED] CONFERENCE (Big Blue Button) on CANVAS

I used CANVAS / CONFERENCE (Big Blue Button) for the first time to webcam a lecture with students.  I clicked the button to record the lecture...and I just received an email telling me that my recording is now available.  I clicked on CONFERENCES on CANVAS, but I don't see any place for recorded conferences.  Also, it doesn't show a record of my conference under CONCLUDED conferences,  WHY?

Hello  @debrahan ...

This Guide, How do I use the Conferences Index Page?, describes how you can access recorded Conferences in your course (after you get the e-mail notification that the recording is now available).  Also, keep in mind that if you are only using the free version of BBB, then those recordings will only be available for 14 days...per this Guide: How do I record a conference?.

Realizing that we are using the free version and that this may be taxed during this unprecedented time, I'm curious how long rendering is taking place. I know in the past it wasn't an immediate view, but none of my teachers can see their recorded sessions after 2 hours.  @canvas_admin ‌  @lildan ‌

 @rislis , even under normal conditions the official guidance has been that it can take up to 24 hours for recorded conferences to become available.

Only took a couple of hours!  They are there now, but I do appreciate hearing the 24 hour info. Thanks stefaniesanders‌
