[ARCHIVED] CSV User Import

We currently have a free account and are needing to do a CSV user import into our new paid account. I (admin) have created the CSV file following the CSV formatting guidelines provided by the Implementation course and every time I do the import it says it's successful; however, there are no users added. We have over 300 users in our free account and would like to make this transition as seamless as possible without having to require them to create a new account in our new paid instance.

Hi,

What fields does the file header in your CVS user file look like?  Are you importing as a .zip file or as a .csv?  What does the results screen show after the upload?

I am uploading it as a CSV file. When I upload the file, it says "All SIS data imported successfully," but next to each of the labels underneath there is the number 0.  I followed the formatting and field labels at the top of the document per the example in the implementation guide. (see below and see attachment) Because of the data I am able to import from the free version, I have only included the required data under each of the required fields such as user id. login ID, full name (when I had it), the email and the status.

I'd recommend that you completely omit the columns that are not required and don't have data, like "integration" and "sortable_name", as is shown in the sample feed from the documentation https://canvas.instructure.com/doc/api/file.sis_csv.html
