[ARCHIVED] Calendar in Rich Content Editor

It would be grand if the RCE had a calendar button that you could use to insert long form dates into the content without having to check manually for the accuracy of day and date. Such a feature could also be linked to the assignments in the Canvas course calendar itself to allow for a simple and easy way to drop assignment links into pages related to that day.

Hello there, @AUDan ...

This sounds like a perfect candidate to submit as a new Feature Idea here in the Community.  You can do this by clicking on the "PRODUCT" menu from any screen here in the Community, and then select "IDEA CONVERSATIONS".  On the screen that appears, click on the red "Suggest an idea" button to start your idea (which you may also be able to find an existing Feature Idea ... in which case you wouldn't need to create a duplicate).
