[ARCHIVED] Can I add a student to my free for teacher course using her paid credentials?

I am teaching a free for teacher course and am trying to add a student. She has a Canvas account through her employer which is a higher ed institution. Is there a way for her to use the same credentials for both courses or do we need to invite her to the free for teacher course through a different email?

Hi @ghebert -

While the student could use her university email, she'll have to create an account specifically for the Free for Teacher URL. The sign in she has for her university is unique to the university and won't transfer to any other instance of Canvas.
