If I wish to embed multiple images into a page in Canvas is there a bulk import function?
I have images saved as files within Canvas, and I want to embed them into a page. Can I do this with multiple images at the same time, or do I have to embed them one at a time (which is very time-consuming)?
Thanks for your help, as always, everyone.
Hi @gumery . If you use the embed image option within the rich content editor, you can only do one image at a time (as far as I can tell), perhaps because it wants you to add alt text to each or indicate it is a decorative image for screen reading programs. However, if you use the option to embed images using the content selector (see How do I insert course images into the Rich Content Editor using the Content Selector as an instruct...), then while you still go one image at a time it can go very quickly as all you need to do is click on one image, then another, etc. In testing I was able to insert perhaps more than one image a second. Would this option help?
All the best!
Hi Eric: Yes! That would certainly speed up the process. I am teaching a photography course, so I am working to get many images into the pages. Anything that streamlines that is a great help.
Thank you!
Excellent @gumery Glad this may save some time!
All the best---
