I am giving my first exam in Canvas. I set a time limit that was 25% more than what I would give in class. A student toook the exam and told me that she could not finish in that amount of time. I'd like to give her more time to finish the exam that she was working on. Is that possible? I know I could give her a retry with a longer time limit, but is there any way to allow her to go back to the original exam and spend more time on it?

Hi, @mreagan Welcome to the Canvas Community! Yes, you can reopen a student's existing attempt and allow them extra time if you created the exam in New Quizzes (see the Reopen Attempt section of How do I moderate a student's assessment attempt in New Quizzes?). If the exam is a classic (old) quiz, you would need to give the student a fresh attempt/retry.
