The Instructure Community will enter a read-only state on November 22, 2025 as we prepare to migrate to our new Community platform in early December. Read our blog post for more info about this change.
It would be extremely beneficial as an instructor to be able to have a saved message signature that automatically populates when sending or responding to messages in Inbox. Does anyone know if this is possible?

Last evening I came across a fairly new blog post from Instructure called New Features, Big Impact: Enhancing Common Workflows in Canvas LMS that I think you'll find interesting. It sounds like signatures in the Canvas Inbox are coming soon...as well as several other things. Happy reading!

It is not possible. The messages Inbox is text only with no way to embed images or use other formatting.
