[ARCHIVED] Can a graded discussion be excluded from calculation in the final grade?

I want to grade my discussions so that I can give students quantitative feedback in addition to my comments, but I don't want the graded discussions to count towards the final grade. In regular assignments, there is the checkbox to exclude an assignment from the final grade, but is there a way to do this for discussions too?

Hi  @eginola , great question. If you have the discussion set up as marked but set it to complete/incomplete that ought to get you around that.
