[ARCHIVED] Can one lock assignments until previous ones are completed withing the same modules?

I am aware that we can lock modules as a prerequisite but is there a way to do it with assignments to?

Not to my knowledge however, you may be interested in seeing requirements in a Canvas module. I have included a link below. Additionally, you could always adjust the availability dates to ensure someone has access to a particular assignment prior to another. For example Assignment 1 is open from Monday to Friday, and Essay 1 is open from Wednesday to Friday. In doing so, you're still making a prerequisite, but students cannot work at their own pace.

Hi Jordi Alborch,

If your assignments are in the same module, you can set the module requirements to be completed in sequential order. How do I add requirements to a module?
