[ARCHIVED] Can we move the control strip in Studio videos outside the video area?

Hi there,

is there a way to move the control bar in Canvas Studio videos away from the actual video frame? When watching a video of a recorded lecture, the bar sits at the bottom of the video frame, and it hides information at the bottom of the slide. It would be good if the control bar could be positioned outside the video frame, or at least minimised.

Hello there, @enricodella ...

I don't really have any insights as to any future plans Instructure has for Studio videos.  However, this sounds like a good request that you'd want to post as a Feature Idea here in the Canvas Community website.  That way, other people can evaluate it in case they would also like to see changes made to those controls on Studio videos.  To create a new idea, go to the PRODUCT menu at the top of any page here in the Community.  Then, click on IDEA CONVERSATIONS.  Next, click on the "Suggest an idea" button.  Here are a few Guides to get you started:
