Hello, I am the lead instructor for my course and over the last 24 hours have not been able to post announcements. Please advise on how I can resolve this. Thanks.

Hello again @avilo
I checked the Canvas status page (Instructure Status ) and while there is not currently any issues, there were a few yesterday including timeout and page errors. Maybe your experience is related to these errors? You might try again and see if the problem still occurs. You might also try a couple of different web browsers (such as Chrome and Firefox). Sometimes an issue exists in one browser but not another for some reason! If you try both of these and it still doesn't work, I would contact Canvas Support (How do I get help with Canvas as an instructor?) as they could dig into it a bit more.
Good luck!
Hi @avilo and welcome to the Canvas Community! Can you explain a bit more about what you are experiencing? Can you not access the announcements tab on the course, is the rich content editor not available, do you post an announcement but students indicate they don't see it?
Thanks for the additional information!
Good morning.
I am able to access Announcements and write in the message. When I press the "send" button, nothing happens. I stay on the same page. I waited for a few minutes in case it was a delay, but the page remained. I went back to check if the message had posted and it hadn't.
