[ARCHIVED] Canvas Announcements: rearrange order

As an instructor, is there a way to change the order of my Canvas announcements? 

I often wish to simply move an older announcement to the top without having to edit and delay posting or cutting/copying and pasting.

Unfortunately, I don't have great news for you on this topic.  Announcements cannot be re-ordered.  Please check out these previous discussion topics that address the same question:

I am very sorry, but this is just ridiculous. After 4 years, if not more, there is still no solution to such trivial issue as reordering/rearrangement of announcements.
